1. Agreement Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of automotive maintenance and tuning services by Meridian Motors. By engaging our services, scheduling appointments, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or website.

2. Definitions

  • "Services" refers to automotive inspection, maintenance, repair, and tuning services provided by Meridian Motors
  • "Client" or "You" means any individual or entity engaging our services
  • "Vehicle" means any automobile presented for service
  • "Company", "We", or "Us" refers to Meridian Motors
  • "Agreement" means these Terms and Conditions together with any service quotes or work orders

3. Service Provision

3.1 Service Scope

Services are provided in accordance with documented procedures, manufacturer specifications, and Singapore regulatory requirements. The specific scope of work is defined in service quotes and work orders provided before service commencement.

3.2 Service Authorization

By authorizing service, you confirm that you have legal authority over the vehicle and consent to the specified work. We require written or verbal authorization before proceeding with any work beyond initial inspection.

3.3 Additional Work

If inspection reveals needs beyond initially authorized work, we will contact you for approval before proceeding. Any additional work requires separate authorization and is quoted before execution.

4. Client Responsibilities

4.1 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate information about your vehicle's condition, history, and any known issues. Withholding relevant information may affect service quality and our ability to identify problems.

4.2 Vehicle Condition

You confirm that the vehicle is legally registered, insured, and roadworthy at time of service. You are responsible for removing personal belongings from the vehicle before service.

4.3 Timely Vehicle Collection

Vehicles must be collected within 48 hours of service completion notification. Extended storage may incur daily fees after this period.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Currency and Pricing

All prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (S$) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Service package prices cover specified items; additional work discovered during service is quoted separately.

5.2 Payment Timing

Payment is due upon service completion before vehicle release. We accept cash, bank transfer, and major credit cards. Payment plans may be available for larger service packages through partnered financial institutions.

5.3 Price Changes

Published service prices are subject to change. The price quoted at time of service authorization remains valid for 30 days. Parts pricing may vary based on supplier availability.

5.4 Taxes

All applicable Singapore taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), are included in quoted prices unless explicitly stated otherwise.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

6.1 Cancellation Notice

Service appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice without penalty. Cancellations with less notice may incur an administrative fee if preparation work has commenced.

6.2 Refund Eligibility

Refunds are considered in cases where:

  • Service was not performed as authorized
  • Parts supplied were incorrect or defective
  • Service quality fails to meet documented standards

6.3 Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refund:

  • Labor costs for work properly performed
  • Parts that have been installed
  • Diagnostic services that identified issues
  • Recommendations you chose not to implement

6.4 Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of service completion.

7. Warranties and Limitations

7.1 Workmanship Warranty

We warrant that work performed meets industry standards. If defects in workmanship appear within 90 days of service, we will re-perform affected work at no charge. This warranty covers labor only; parts are covered by manufacturer warranties.

7.2 Parts Warranties

Parts are covered by manufacturer warranties, which vary by component. We facilitate warranty claims but are not responsible for manufacturer warranty terms or fulfillment.

7.3 Service Limitations

Services are provided "as is" regarding outcomes. While we follow established procedures, we cannot guarantee:

  • Specific vehicle performance improvements
  • Inspection passage (though we identify likely failure points)
  • Prevention of all future mechanical issues
  • Specific service life for replaced components

7.4 Liability Limitations

Our liability for any claim related to services provided is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including loss of use, lost profits, or alternative transportation costs.

8. Vehicle Storage and Safety

8.1 Workshop Security

While vehicles are in our care, we implement reasonable security measures. However, we are not liable for theft, damage, or loss of vehicles or contents unless caused by our negligence.

8.2 Personal Property

We recommend removing all personal items from vehicles. We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal property left in vehicles.

8.3 Test Drives

Service may require test drives to verify proper operation. By authorizing service, you consent to necessary test driving by our technicians.

9. Dispute Resolution

9.1 Informal Resolution

We encourage clients to first contact us directly to resolve any concerns. Most issues can be addressed through open communication.

9.2 Mediation

If informal resolution fails, parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing formal legal action. Mediation costs are shared equally unless otherwise agreed.

9.3 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any legal proceedings must be brought in Singapore courts.

9.4 Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in full effect.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters or severe weather
  • Government actions or regulatory changes
  • Strikes or labor disputes
  • Parts supply disruptions
  • Equipment failure or facility damage

In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to minimize delays and notify affected clients promptly.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

Material changes are communicated to active clients via email where possible. The current version of these terms is always available on our website.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with any service quotes and work orders, constitute the entire agreement between you and Meridian Motors regarding service provision.

No verbal statements or prior written communications modify these terms unless explicitly agreed in writing by authorized company representatives.
